Dell XPS M1330

I know that the Dell XPS M1330 isn't a new model, but it has performed so well for me I thought it would be appropriate to write a 'glowing' review. The M1330 is a mighty might. A lot of computing power is packed into it's very lightweight shell. It is also a very hardy machine. About 2 years ago when I was walking through an airport in Japan, I dropped the laptop and it hit the floor. It fell about 3 feet. The hard drive was fried but everything else was fine. Maybe it was luck, or maybe it was good workmanship. This is my third Dell, and I have had mostly well-performing machines.

The combination of durability and size make this a great travel laptop. I often use in the cramped quarters in Economy Class. It fits perfectly on the seat tray. I've also brought it on backpacking trips. Weighing in at less than 5 pounds make it a reasonable addition. I also really like the built in webcam. I've used it in hotel lobbies and bars.

Overall, the Dell XPS M1330 has served as an excellent small business and travel computer. If you can get a good deal, I'd say go ahead and buy it. There are some great deals on Amazon.com.
